Scope
This Privacy Policy explains what information Brain Health ("the App") collects, how it is collected and used, when it is shared, and how you can request access, correction, or deletion.
Information We Collect
When you play as a guest
- Guest Player ID — a random identifier stored on your device and sent with API requests
- Analytics identifier — a random identifier generated by our analytics provider and stored on your device to distinguish app sessions and measure return usage; it is not an advertising identifier
- Local game data — game state, personal bests, and preferences stored on your device
- Gameplay and product interaction data — games displayed and opened, game category and feed position, loading status and errors, attempts, scores or results, session and play duration, favorites-related interactions, and app opens or backgrounding
Guest players can submit scores to leaderboards using an app-generated guest identity. Signing in is required to save account favorites. Guest scores may be associated with your account when you sign in.
When you sign in
Depending on the information provided by Apple or Google, we may collect:
- Email address — including an Apple private relay address, if you choose that option
- User ID — the identifier associated with your authenticated account
- Name and avatar URL — profile information provided by your sign-in provider
- Game data — scores, favorites, leaderboard entries, and related gameplay records
For product analytics, Brain Health associates the internal account User ID with analytics activity so we can understand retention across sessions. Brain Health does not intentionally send your email address or name to PostHog as analytics properties.
Purchases and subscriptions
Unlimited access is an optional subscription purchased through Apple's App Store. A Brain Health account is not required to purchase or restore a subscription.
We use RevenueCat to validate purchases and manage subscription access. We and RevenueCat may process:
