Information We Collect
- Email address — when you sign in with Google or Apple Sign-In, used for account identification
- User ID — a unique identifier assigned to your account (including anonymous guest sessions)
- Photos — images you upload for AI enhancement (including portrait photos that may contain facial imagery); originals and enhanced results are stored in your account until you delete them
- Face data — we do not collect separate biometric face data (no face maps, face geometry, or facial recognition templates). If a photo you upload contains a face, that facial imagery is processed only as part of the photo file you choose to upload. See the Face Data section below for full details.
- Purchase and subscription data — subscription status, product identifiers, and billing period information processed by Apple and RevenueCat
- Usage data — app interactions (e.g. feature usage, screens viewed, errors) collected via PostHog for product analytics
How We Use Your Data
- Photos (which may include facial imagery in portraits) are processed by AI to generate enhanced images and stored so you can view, save, or delete them in the app
- We do not use face data to identify you, authenticate you, build a face profile, or sell it to third parties
- Email and user ID are used for authentication, account management, and syncing your subscription and credits
- Usage data helps us understand how the app is used and fix issues
- We do not sell your personal data to third parties

Face Data
Photoshoot AI does not use face recognition, face mapping, or biometric identification technologies (such as ARKit face tracking or creation of face geometry templates).
When you upload a photo that contains a person's face, we process the entire photo you choose to upload. Facial imagery in that photo is handled only as part of the photo file needed to provide AI enhancement (for example: portrait retouching, relighting, or expression adjustment).
